LOOKING FOR A WAY TO SERVE- A MINISTRY, GREETER, READER, ACOLYTE, SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER?

The West Side Church is;

(1) the community of Faith that believes in the love of God as it appeared in the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the Cross. We confess that Jesus is our Lord and Savior, and whoever believes in Him, he/she receives forgiveness and eternal life. (John 3:16, Romans 5:8, Ephesians 2:8-9)

(2) the community of Love as the Lord Jesus loved us (John 13:34-35). We reach out to our neighbors  with the love of God in which God gave His one and only Son Jesus for us without reservation (John 3:16,Romans 8:32)

(3) the community of living Hope based upon the triumphal resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. The resurrection of Jesus gave us the assurance of victorious life in this world (2 Cor. 4:7-10) as well as the final victory and our own resurrection  when Jesus comes again in this world (1 Thes. 4:16-17).

(4) We believe  in the faith confessed in the Apotles' Creed as our confession of faith.

(5) We believe that the Bible is the infallible, fully sufficient, Word of God.
